Superhornets

Well I finally took some photos of the Superhornets I finished. Not my best work, but they look ok (from a distance!). The decals on both were a nightmare; took me days to finish and a lot ripped or came off. No weathering on either one because I just wanted to finish them.

Overall, I like how the Hasegawa F/A-18F turned out better than the Revell F/A-18E, although it costs a lot more. The dropped flaps on the F look really nice, and are so much more accurate as this is how they really look when everything is turned off.

Best thing about these two builds (except of course being finished!) was finally building a couple of aircraft that I saw all the time when I was deployed on board USS NIMITZ in 2007 and 2008!
